Where are they?
Does anyone else wonder where "they" are? The masses, the "they sayers", the planets. Everyone I know claims not to be one of them, so where are "they"? I've searched at work and at school and apparently my environments are full of suns, with not a planet in sight. I was just curious because lately "they" have a lot to say.

Maybe since we are all gods of our internal universes and since we internalize everyone else's desires and actions it is impossible for us to see ourselves as planets and still retain our sense of personal worth.
So am I a planet to YOU?

The question could have been taken to ways:
1. Are you a planet in relation to me being a sun?
or
2. Are you a planet in general?
I can't think of anyone who would be your sun (myself included). Additionally, you not being the centre of attention you (Please). You shine buddy. Therefore deductive reasoning would leave me to believe you are not a planet.
Deductive reasoning would also lead us to believe that you must therefore be a sun. That being the case I, for one, can think of many different people who would fall under the heading of your planets
Now the question is how many of my planets can we name?
in relation to sj there are many many planets... i can't deny being one. but in relation to me, there are many planets too. maybe it's just a limited metaphor.
but sj is correct, we are all the center of our own universes. who would willingly relegate themselves to others in that manner? who would willingly be 5th business (or a bit player) in their own story?
marie you should study sociology! you'd get such a kick out of that. dig into symbolic interactionist theories.
